We offer a personalised ‘Meet & Greet’ service to Coolangatta, Brisbane  & Sunshine Coast Airports.

Please note that Flight details must be faxed or emailed to us 24 hrs in advance of pickup to avoid any surcharges or delays in meeting the customer.

As well as our airports “Meet & Greet”, we also pickup / deliver to Gold Coast hotels, motels, tourist resorts and railway stations; Brisbane CBD hotels and Brisbane Ports and Cruise Terminal.

What is included in the rates?

  •  GST
  • Airport and all local taxes,
  • Airport delivery fees (after-hours airport pickup or drop-off to a different location is not included)
  • Unlimited kms within a 250 radius of the pickup location

Are additional drivers included in the rate?

  • Yes, up to 3 additional drivers are included in the rates.

Are there any driving restrictions?

  • Driver’s must produce a current Australian, Overseas or International drivers licence that has been held for a minimum of three years and which reflects the equivalent of an open class licence. The minimum age is 21 years.
  • A credit card is required for insurance purposes.
  • The credit card holder must be present at time of hire to sign the contract. Drivers must sign alongside the credit card provider as being jointly responsible for payment of the excess.

What is the minimum and maximum age limit allowed for the driver?

  • Our standard rates offered are for drivers between the ages of 25-85.
  • A rate surcharge applies to drivers 21 – 24. They are also required to pay a bond.

Am I required to pay a Bond?

  • Yes, a $200 (minimum) bond will be charged to your credit card at pickup and refunded upon inspection of the vehicle (minus any extra charges for insufficient fuel, unpaid fines, late returns or excess soiling etc.) Please note that the banks may take up to 3 – 5 working days to process the refund.

What are the Terms for drivers 21 – 24?

  • A young driver’s surcharge of $15 per day plus normal per day rates applies for drivers 21 – 24.
  • The Insurance excess is $3,000 (excess reduction options are the same for all drivers 21 – 85).
  • Drivers 21 – 24 are required to pay a $1,000 bond which is taken off their Credit Card. This will be refunded at the end of the hire period if no damage to the car (banks may take 5 working days to process the refund).

Are there any driving restrictions for local residents?

  • Yes, there is a $1,000 Bond off their credit card (may extend to $3,000 at discretion of the hirer) – this will be refunded at end of hire period if no damage (Bank may take up to 5 working days to process refund).

Do you Offer a Discount to Repeat Customers?

  • Repeat customers aged 25+ receive 10% off the listed Rates.
  • $NIL credit card fees applicable to all periods.
  • Free Baby Seats & Boosters(depending on availability).
  • Free GPS(depending on availability).
  • No after-hours fees charged between 6am – 9am and 5pm – 8pm.
  • $10.00 to reduce excess to $500 on cars.
  • $15.00 to reduce excess to NIL on cars.
  • $15.00 to reduce excess to $500 on SUV & 8 Seaters.
  • $25.00 to reduce excess to $NIL on SUV & 8 Seaters.

Do you deliver to Airports?

  • Yes, we offer a ‘Meet & Greet’ service to the Gold Coast (Coolangatta) Airport, Brisbane Domestic and International and to the Sunshine Coast Airport.

Do you deliver the cars to hotels? What are the fees?

  • We deliver to all Gold Coast Tourist accommodation between Tweed Heads and Surfers Paradise. There is no charge with a minimum 3+ days rental.
  • We do deliver to Brisbane Hotels / Motels / Resorts and Cruise Ship Terminal with a 3+ day hire.

Do you deliver the cars to railway stations and ports? What is the delivery & collection fee?

  • Yes, we deliver cars to Railway stations & ports.   There is no delivery fee charged, provided the vehicle is hired for a minimum rental period of 3 days.

One Way Rental Charges?

Coolangatta office to Gold Coast Airport.

  • Free on 3+ days car hire.
  • One-way option not available on 1 – 2 day hire.

Gold Coast to Brisbane (or Brisbane to Gold Coast)

  • Free on 7+ days rental (excludes $189 weekly special or off-peak daily special rate; both will incur a $50 one-way rental)
  • $50 on all rentals between 3 – 6 days
  • One-way option not available on 1-2 day car hire

Brisbane Airport to Sunshine Coast Airport (or Sunshine Coast to Brisbane)

  • Free on 7+ days rental (excludes $189 weekly special or off-peak daily special rate; both will incur a $50 one-way rental)
  • $50 on all rentals between 3 – 6 days
  • One-way option not available on 1-2 day car hire

Gold Coast (Coolangatta) Airport to Sunshine Coast Airport (or Sunshine Coast to Coolangatta)

  • $95 on all rentals for 5+ days
  • One-way option not available on 1-4 day car hire

Do you offer baby/child seats and GPS?

  • We have Baby & Booster seats, GPS units and Strollers. The cost is $4.95 per day or a maximum cost of $29.95 per week (including GST)
  • We don’t supply any roof racks, ski racks, snow chains or winter tyres.

Is Personal Accident Insurance offered for passengers?

  • Yes, PAI (Personal Accident Insurance) is offered for all passengers.

Is Fire and Theft Ins included in the Rates?

  • The Rates include Fire and Theft (third party) insurance.

What happens if the car is damaged by fire, is the client liable for the excess amount?

  • Yes, the driver is liable for the excess amount if the car is damaged by fire.

Do you allow the customer to take your cars on a ferry?

  • No, we do not allow cars to be put on ferries.

What is your fuel policy?

  • A Service Fee plus cost of fuel will be charged if the vehicle is returned at less than the amount of fuel stipulated on the contract.

What is the maximum coverage of Third Party Liability Insurance?

  • Our public liability insurance covers damages up to $10 million.

How much time is the drop-off grace period?

  • We allow 1 hour’s grace without any additional fees or the driver incurring an extra day’s hire.

Do you have a maximum period rental limit?

  • We do not have a maximum rental period. However, renting for 4 weeks or longer will be at the discretion of the proprietor.

Do you offer an Express Service, whereby customers can email / fax their driving licence and passport details prior to their arrival?

What credit cards do you accept?

  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, Cash & EFTPOS. A credit card fee of 3% applies to Visa and Mastercard.

What days are you closed (National holidays, etc.)?

  • We are closed on Christmas Day and New Year Day. Otherwise our offices are open all year round.  Phones are diverted to an afterhours number out of office hours.

Do you have an emergency number, which the client will be able to call?

  • We have a 24 hour toll free number which is diverted automatically to the proprietor of the business if the office is unattended. FREECALL: 1800 822 059
